Success Stories

Bürkert makes ideas flow in the segment of Hygenic Processing - Pharmaceutical.

Success story: Sanofi

As one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies Sanofi knows the importance of suppliers with a strong global presence. Recent projects in France in their vaccines division called for solutions with excellent performance and design suitable for use within the pharma environment. Bürkert was able to deliver exceptional valve solutions which reflected cleanble, compact and intelligent process capabilities as well as complete cabinet solutions containing state of the art pneumatics for actuation. Maintaining a close working relationship meant a successful and timely project realisation.

Success story: Red Cross (CAF-DCF)

From the standard General Purpose valves up to the sanitary Robolux Manifold solutions, Bürkert can fulfill the needs of customers. Xendo, a leading, independent consultancy, contract research and project management organization requested a two tankbottom valve in one tank but the tank needs to be drainable at both valves. With this question Xendo approached Bürkert.

They were working on a pharma project at C.A.F.-D.C.F. in Brussel, Belgium. The Central Department for Fractionation of the Red Cross (C.A.F.-D.C.F. cvba-scrl) is a Belgian organization specialised in the fractionation of plasma and the production of stable plasma derivatives. Mainly plasma taken from volunteer, unpaid donors at Belgian blood transfusion centres is used for the preparation of these plasma derivatives.

In good collaboration with Xendo and C.A.F-D.C.F., Bürkert provided successfully with Robolux a special two in one tankbottom valve to solve their problem in drainabillity and compactness.
